One man’s garbage is another man’s gold
Each weekend morning after fueling up with a cup of coffee and glancing over the Times, I leave my apartment on a treasure hunt. Paper and chalk signs around the neighborhood carry us from one street to another. But I often fear that by turning one corner I may be missing a sale around another. So I thought…wouldn’t it be nice to leave home armed with a list – or better yet – a map where I could easily locate sales in my and other Brooklyn hoods? The answer to our question was “yes”. And so we built it. For us. For you. Enjoy!
Let’s just say that we do this out of the love of the hunt and finding that rare gem that we dream of bringing to the Antiques Roadshow and discovering that it is worth a fortune and knowing that we paid virtually nothing for it.
